Final WTC Design

They have finally chosen a design for the new World Trade Center towers.
I have always felt a special attachment to New York City. It's probably due to my love for architecture. I had the opportunity to go the WTC observation deck a couple of years ago and enjoyed every moment of being in and on top of the building... (I still remember the white marble interior and the impressive marble desk with the inscription for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.) I am glad that the LMDC went with a design that will make a statement as I don't feel that it would be in the spirit of New York to leave a big empty hole or an understated design ... On a recent trip to Chicago, I had the opportunity to visit the John Hancock Center... what fun.
