L.A. Times article on The Invisible Builder

The Los Angeles Times has an extended article on Welton Becket, who is described as "LA's invisible builder." Among his personal (and his firm's) achievements include the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, where the Oscars have often been held. As well as the famous circular Capital Records building. The article contains a list and a map (PDF) of the dozens of buildings he designed. Definitely worth the read.
