Though the weather is a pleasant 13 degrees celsius, it's grey. The kind of weather to go with my end-of-term energy level I guess. As is par for the course in the last few weeks, I am having a hard time staying focussed on school.
Things are getting better though as I have made much progress on the various class reports that are due in the next 3 weeks.
My main source of distraction, aside from the war, has been a new game called iConquer, for Mac OS X. An updated version of the old board game Risk! (which itself spawned a version for Mac OS 7/8/9), it is much fun. Programmed opponents include the usual suspects Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden as well as long lost favourites like Stalin and Slobodan Milosevic. Rounding out the group is none other than Bill Gates himself, whose programmed personality corresponds to vindictive.). I guess I should change my player name to Steve Jobs and establish my reality distortion field around the world.
On a positive note, I received word that I had been chosen as one of ten students to be in the Case Competition Course for JMSB. If I do well, I get to compete next January. Should be fun.
