Damn. Another missed opportunity.

Stopped in to Chapters on the way home from a breakfast downtown. Came across a book called, Hello, I'm Special, released last year which describes how many people, in wanting to demonstrate their individuality, basically fall back into the faceless masses of conformity.

Yep, another book that this adroit, cynical, observer of contemporary society could have written at least two years ago. Was I the only one who noticed all the individuals (in Dilbert parlance) walking around as wiggers, or chicks who had tattoos on their backs pointing at their asses (so, their boyfriends would know where there ass was, is my guess), or who spiked their hair up like the host of American Idol, or, a particular specialty here in Quebec, short, plump women in their 50s with their hair died orange?!?

-nuff said.
