Too much jujubes.
Too much energy drinks to make it through the day.
Too much weight. 5 pounds in the last month alone.
Too much heat and humidity. The new pool should fix that.

Too little time with friends.
Too little time for other pursuits.
Too little personal growth.

Reality has been somewhat lacking in the last few weeks. A number of rather surreal situations have popped up and required navigating through. Right now, focused on my work. Things are simpler that way.

That's better. I got to the bottom of the web site problem. Server URL had recently changed unbeknownst to me.

Only outstanding problem now is my PowerBook which, if things keep gong as they are, will be due either a 2nd display, or a 4th motherboard. Beautiful it is, reliable it isn't. Good thing I thought to buy an extended warranty.

Performance has been so bad recently that I have taken to using my PC laptop instead.

Something happened to the images on the HHD web site. Around about the time a work colleague forwarded a picture of yours truly around the office. Since the kind fellow also functions as a security consultant, I wonder if he didn;t hack my page in response to my trash talking ahead of our joint touch football game in Calgary. Only time will tell.

As for yours truly, things are well, though tired. Much to say but still trying to find the rhythm/beat that allows me to do everything I want to do in a day.

Now on strike duty for the foreseeable future (up to 6-9 months according to some). This means long hours but great pay. Looking forward to paying off my credit line in no short order, chipping in for the landscaping and putting down a nice payment on a sweet new TV.

Ah, the infamous agency problem. What is in my employer's best interest is not in mine. ;-)
