Just so happened that I happened to be on the Marina green on the San Francisco Bay when I noticed a whole bunch of people gathering. Hundreds, thousands even. First thought was that it might be an aircraft carrier coming back from Iraq. No American flags being waved though. Hmm.
Turns out it was the Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2 ship. What a sight as it came in under the Golden Gate bridge! I'll post my own pics when I get back home...
