Sometime last week I wrote about my daily routine and how I use it to check up on the depths of humanity. Today CNN reports that,
"1,000 killed in a week, Iraqi Interior Ministry estimates: An estimated 1,000 people have been killed throughout Iraq in the past week due to gunbattles, drive-by shootings and bomb attacks, an Interior Ministry official said. The deadliest attack came Saturday when a bombing at a crowded market in central Baghdad killed 128 people and wounded 343 others."
